Wills and Probate

Taking some time to make your will and lasting power of attorney now can avoid uncertainty and distress in the future

Wills and Probate

Because making a will is personal, we do not offer a form filling service, but can offer you a free first interview. If you complete the contact us form to the right, or telephone during office hours we can arrange an appointment

At the same time as making a will, think about a lasting power of attorney. A lasting power of attorney appoints someone chosen by you to look after your affairs if you become physically or mentally unable to do so yourself, or if for any other reason, you wish them to deal with things on your behalf. With a lasting power of attorney, if things do go wrong, you know who will be handling your affairs.

Probate

Following bereavement some people prefer to hand over all aspects of dealing with an estate to their solicitor, others wish to retain a personal involvement. We can relieve you of as much responsibility as possible, all the time keeping you informed, and dealing with matters promptly. Alternatively, perhaps in the case of a smaller estate, we can point you in the right direction and work together with you in connection with the administration if that is your preferred choice

Our charges are based on an hourly rate for the work undertaken - we do not take a percentage of the value of the estate

If you need to know where to go from here, use the Contact Us form to the right, or telephone during offices hours
